Muilti- project

It’s toward the end of the year and the end of my semester in San Jose State University. I’ve doing the blog for the Mcom. 63 course and here comes our final project. Honestly I’ve been having hard time through out the semester caused by my personal issues. I havne’t done a good job in all courses this semester, but I’ve been trying to pull myself out so I can put everything in place. Doing all the assignments for Mcom 63 was a bit challenging for me who didn’t have any idea and skill. Even it was not perfect, I’ve definitely learned a lot of techniques that I didn’t know before. I’ve finally know how to use Photoshop, InDesing, Dreamweaver, how to use audacity to record an audio file, and how to put together a short video slideshow. . I decided to post my InDesign project and the WiKi link on this blog and put the video and audio files on the Tripod website. I wnat to thank my instructor for being patient and accessible!

InDesign project: Eyeshadow Brochure. I’ve finally done it after a long delay.

Save as InDesign document, then Export and save as JPEG.

WiKiSpaces Link: “Hydrogen Power”. Searched oneline for information, read it and posted them on a “New Page”.

Five total posts.

Holiday Make up and Gift Ideas

Since the holidays are on the way, it would be fun to pump up the season even more, with our make up! In order to complement the holiday color–red, a crystal white shimmery/glitter eye color would really give an extra taste to te season. Christian Dior has a single eye color that just perfectly fits into the needs! The color is white based but has a shade of silver that gives the glow.

Another option is also from Christian Dior–The Christmas Look.  It’s Dior’s new pallet for the season and also with a sheen accent!

Paul & Joe– Eye Gloss

Paul & Joe is originally from the US. but has been very popular in Asian countries because of its pleasant packaging and the scent of orange flower. The philosophy of the line is to create a flawless and fresh look. Following the company’s center approach, Paul & Joe’s eye glosses are the most wearable for the natural and fresh look. It’s a cream to jell type texture and it’s very smooth on the eyes. It spreads out easily, and covers the entire eyelid with a small amount. The quality it creates is beautiful, and I would recommand it to both beginer and advancer!

Here’s a website for those of you are considering trying the product–>

  3. Apply the main color(the most pigmented) from the lash line to the crease.
  4. High light the middle of the eye with the lighter shimmer(right side next to the main color).
  5. Lastly, apply liner with a smudging brush, and soften the edges with the white shimmer.
  6. Tight line for a darker and sexier look and brush on your favorite mascara.

The Mineral Pigments

Since the mineral make up walked into the cosmetic world, it has been one of the most popular make up item in store. Mineral powder cosmetics include variety of items, such as the mineral powder foundation, which was the first mineral powder item, blushes, and multi-usage pigments. Based on personal experience, the multi-usage powder pigments fit the name that is really”multiple usage”. The powder is made by numbers of pure minerals and pure pigments, so it is harmless to the skin and “fit” on to the skin. The pigments can be used as lip colors, used as a dye on hair and of course eyeshadows. The mineral itself is very thin and easy to break, so its feature makes mineral powder products fit on to skin and absorb excess oil. Just simply take an eyeshadow brush, tab a small amount of pigment, and tap off excess before application. The power is very pigmented, so be aware to use light handed!!
